Who We Want to Hear From
Your Connection to This Story

Descendants of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation with ties to northeastern Alabama. This is your history first. We want to hear from you before we speak for you.

Trail users and community members who walk, run, or ride the Chief Ladiga Trail and want to know its full story.
- —
Local historians, educators, and archivists with primary sources, family records, or institutional knowledge about Chief Ladiga, the Treaty of Cusseta, or the land along the trail corridor.

Journalists and documentary filmmakers interested in the bicentennial as a public history story.
- —
Artists — particularly Native artists — who want to contribute work to the campaign.
- —
Institutions along the trail — cities, universities, museums, historical societies — that are willing to acknowledge this history publicly and participate in the 2032 commemoration.
